I just downloaded it hours ago and I’ve been playing around with it to say that it’s pretty stable and fast! It has features that seem essential. Viewing photos have never been this cool with the slide show-like effects. Of course, I’ve been using a WiFi connection so we’ll see tomorrow how it does with the T-Mobile data network.

One glitch that I’ve noticed so far, however, is the lack of ability to search for your friends instantly as you type, just as the Facebook application can do. Also, it seems too difficult to use. Facebook for BlackBerry lays all of your messages, pokes, comments, wall posts, and messages in what looks just like how your messages and e-mail on your phone are laid out. I also noticed that there’s no way to instantly go to someone’s full HTML profile directly from the application to your browser. But then again, a whole lot of Facebook for BlackBerry’s functionality require you to click Options-Go to Mobile Site whereas MySpace for BlackBerry has most of the information for you, including vital profile information.

We’ll see how the MySpace application does as we learn more about it. Bare in mind that it is still in beta and the full release may end up fully revamped.

As for T-Mobile, they’re playing AT&T. What I meant by that is T-Mobile is suddenly raising prices on their data plan, which has been Cingular/AT&T’s tactic for years.

You may vaguely or vividly remember when T-Mobile and other carriers raised prices on pay-per-use text messaging to $0.20/message. Now, T-Mobile has decided to raise the cost for the internet, especially for smartphones!

T-Mobile used to be the cheapest cell phone company. But I guess, now that they finally have a 3G network, the feel that they have the right to increase pricing on data plans.

I called T-Mobile earlier and the customer service representative said my BlackBerry Internet Service plan will be increased from $19.99 to $24.99. I was so mad. They claimed that this was because they have vastly improved my service. How the hell can they improve service from my EDGE/2.5G data BlackBerry? Do they seriously think I’m that stupid? She said that the $24.99 plan has 400 sms/mms/im messaging included with the BlackBerry Internet Service. Bollocks! I already get unlimited text because the family plan I’m signed up for includes unlimited text messaging for only £19.99 extra. So it’s basically a waste for me!

Back then, I only liked T-Mobile because of ONE, their extremely cheap pricing plans for calls and data and TWO, the 24-hour customer service with amazing customer satisfaction. They’ve already removed the 24/7/365 customer service. Now, they’re raising prices too.

So what’s left to like about T-Mobile? I get no service indoors unless I’m using a WiFi connection for UMA. I constantly get calls dropped. I have to dial some number when roaming at another country in order to make a call. Their data network is subpar. BlackBerry Internet Service with T-Mobile has way too much downtime. They took away the 24/7/365 customer service. Now, they have the audacity to increase pricing.

I’m so frustrated with T-Mobile right now. I feel like joining a T-Mobile grievance support group or something. I can’t wait to switch back to AT&T and get the BlackBerry Bold. AT&T may be the most evil telecommunications giant in America but at least I’ll get amazing service, even inside my own house, without the help of WiFi which is already pay for separately.

UBC. It stands for University of British Columbia. British Columbia is of course the best place on earth. No really, that’s what it says on the Province’s logo. “BC, the best place on earth.” Lol

Within the UBC system are two campuses. One is at Vancouver, which is often referred to as UBC Vancouver or simply UBC and the other at Kelowna called UBC Okanagan or UBCO.

UBC Vancouver and UBC Okanagan may offer different programmes. One may be focused in the Arts whereas the other may be focused on the sciences. Whilst choosing your programme of interest, you will find all the information about where your programme is offered and which campus is your primary choice.

At UBC Vancouver, you’ll find that there is so much of nature to see. Being at Point Grey, the campus is literally surrounded by forests and as you stroll down to the far west, you have literally hit the Pacific Ocean. Just being there truly is a remarkable experience. I won’t mention much about UBC Okanagan because I’ve never seen it lol.

UBC is the biggest university in British Columbia. There are more than 40,000 students enrolled at UBC and sometimes, you feel that the relationship between staff and students are no longer personal. However, UBC is still amongst the top three universities in Canada and ranked the top 33 amongst universities around the globe because bare in mind that 92% of UBC professors are Ph.D level professors.

The UBC motto, as printed on the university’s coat of arms, is “Tuum est” Latin for “It is yours” or “It’s up to you.”

With so much tradition, deriving from the early days when UBC was still a part of McGill University, up to now being amongst the top research universities and one of the only two Canadian universities that are members of Universitas 21, one will be swayed to sing Hail UBC and High on Olympus and to say “Go Thunderbirds.”

(2) Proposition 8 won. This must be the most unfair and unjust thing ever. How could you support eliminating the civil liberties of a group of people and force them to choose a certain way. You can’t choose who you fall in love with. Where are we, Pakistan? How could millions of people allow segregation? Separate but equal is not equal and we have already realised this before yet people still believe in it. Especially churches. I certainly don’t believe that God would approve discrimination. He said love one another, not hate on those who are different from you. And yes, this is so the biggest social issue of today.

(3) We still have no universal healthcare. The world already knows how important publicly-funded healthcare is. We are literally the only developed country without socialised healthcare. Let alone for a publicly-funded immunisation programme. I can’t believe that health insurance companies and drug companies are influencing the votes of our S/HR. Lol I accidentally wrote MPs but I once again forgot that I was talking about America.

(4) Vancouver, BC rocks harder than Los Angeles, CA. That one was kind of personal. Lol

(5) I want the BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Bold but my carrier doesn’t carry those BlackBerry handhelds so I’m stuck with the Curve. That one’s personal too. Lol

As you can see, It’s all not fair! Uggghhh!

It’s not like we haven’t been into this whole globalism effort this whole time.

It pisses me off that only the upper class can afford healthcare in america today. Not to mention the sad decline of our economy. Alongside the rise of crime.

We are never going to get a taste of free healthcare, free college education, free anything. Hey, we’ll probably be charged by Municipal Services for breathing now too, just to help fund this war.

The rich are being supported by the government in an effort to stimulate the economy. A sad realisation then came to the legislators as they came to a decision to impose the stimulus act.

Sadly, the stimulus payment was not enough and it was too late for we have already entered another depression.

The government obviously doesn’t want to recognise the situation as “the depression of the 21st century” but after the decline of our economy, the rise of the canadian dollar, and the drop of 11000 points by the new york stock exchange’s major indices, the people of America cries and yells otherwise.

Of course, the wretched right are focused on “More important” matters” such as wars in other countries and how we can make money off those countries, oops I meant “help” them develop, and how we can look good to those people as we mooch off their deficit payments.

The same wretched Right-winged pretend to “care” about our nation by protesting to remove the natural rights of citizens and eliminating our advancement as one people by taking us back to the “good old days” when America was dominated by the white anglo-saxon protestant male.

America is not one. America is divided by race, ethnicity, religion, gender, social classn and basically anything else that can differentiate one person from another.

Or at least that’s what America makes itself look like.

“No Homo.”

A phrase that has become widespread to men who wish not to be depicted as gay.

Homophobia once again succeeds. Gay people out there actually feel the necessity to say this phrase in order to hide from their true selves only because society demands no homosexuals in this world. Possibly frightened of being judged? Being secluded from a diverse social life?

Have we not been through enough as a people?

Each and every time, there is a new type of “racism” in this world. People and their prejudice selves.

Discrimination. It is a replicating virus in the human community, the one which is known to survive despite all terror it has caused upon each other.

And to think that we have finally been able to surpass our primitive ancestors and their centuries of “traditions.” They shouldn’t be called traditions. In my eyes, it is more than likely to resemble genocide of the Second World War than tradition.

Diversity exists? Don’t make me laugh, mankind.

In a modern society such as ours, one may think that we now actually widely accept those who are different from us. The colours white and red are now harder to distinguish from black and blue. Or perhaps, it just seems that way. Perhaps inside, we really do know the difference between the colours of the rainbow. Maybe we’re not as accepting or tolerant towards the movement towards social equality and justice.

The movement towards equal marriage and its basis of true love in California reminds us all that although people everyday fight towards the enlightenment of equality and seems to have almost reached the far end of the tunnel, there is still a narrow road full of barricades keeping such an idea from coming across. We thought that California has now been the state where equality has been achieved yet there are still people out there who refuse this idea.

Religion? Don’t get me started about how God hates such a horrid idea of marrying persons who belong in the same gender. This God of yours, did he mention limiting or eliminating a person’s rights? Did he mention making someone feel alone, unloved, or even a genetic waste of mankind? Did he ever ask you to lie about your true identity? Did he ever mention that being different is bad and that those who are different from you should be excluded from your kind?

I’m quite unsure. Does the line “Thou shalt love thine neighbour as thine self” ring a bell? Maybe, “Thou shalt not lie.”

This issue does not take us forward as one people. This holds as back, farther back into the world where our same primitive ancestors have lived in. A socially-divided world.

I’m not saying that we are to blame for inheriting this hereditary disease from our ancestors. I certainly do not believe that the closeted LGBT community is to blame either.

I believe that as one people, we should choose to end all adversities as such. People of different races, ethnicities, gender, and preference should be able to harmonise together as one. And we don’t even have to start with the California November election. We could simply start by elimating “No Homo” from our common phrases list. Do me a favour and do that. Please?

Well today, I will talk about what’s been my entertainment.

For television, other than Gossip Girl from The CW, I’ve been hooked on ABC Primetime!

Sadly, I don’t think According to Jim is returning. I was devastated when I found out that Cashmere Mafia wasn’t returning after the big strike but I’m feeling better now. I wish they’d put it back though.

ABC is truly on the right track because I just found out that Scrubs is coming to ABC! I love that show but due to my tight schedule these past couple of weeks, I’ve been unable to catch it. Fortunately, it’s coming to ABC!

I loved the Brothers & Sisters finale, especially the Wandell-Walker conjugal partnership/civil union/gay wedding ceremony. I can’t wait until the Season Finale of the other shows. Too bad I’d have to wait a very long time for all the shows to run again. God, it’s been so fast. I can’t believe it’s a new TV season already!

Online TV has been a major hit recently. On MySpaceTV, the show that entertains me is Beyond the Rave which is the horror-esque show about a guy who has only a few nights left until he is sent to Iraq and tries to enjoy his last “freedom days” by clubbing, drugging, drinking, etc. not knowing that there are certain living-dead walking amongst such a lifestyle.

Well enough for TV. For music, I still listen to my usual Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, Natasha Bedingfield, Black Eyed Peas, Plain White Ts, Joe Brooks, Yelle and Jonas Brothers. But recently, Beyond the Rave has been pulling me into the Whole Techno/Club Mix Music. My Private MySpace song right now is Coccote by Teenage Bad Girl, which I LOVE btw.

For food, I’ve been craving for sushi lately. So Claire and I are going to Sushi Mac this Friday again.

Well, that’s about all my Entertainment nowadays. Sounds boring huh? But I love it.

For the past couple of days, I’ve been obsessing about this guitar. My stage production instructor Mr. Kirkpatrick had this guitar lying around in the room when I came in. I had a short time playing around with it until he had to take it back because it’s her student’s guitar and she left it there. But oh well.

I’ve been searching for this guitar in the internet and I found it last night.

The List Price from Fender is $799.99. According to Guitar Center, they are selling this guitar for only $499.99.

Santa, this guitar is on my Christmas list this year. God, please, I want this guitar.
